Warehouse Manager – World Duty Free


Location: Birmingham Bond 
Full-Time 38.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

Join World Duty Free, a global leader in travel retail, and be at the core of our high-performing logistics operation. We’re seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to lead our 7-day operation, drive efficiency, and deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the overall logistics strategy in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Lead with integrity, motivating, developing, and retaining a high-performing team.

  • Provide exceptional, accurate, and timely service that supports continuous improvement.

  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, security standards, and sustainability milestones.

  • Manage and deliver operational KPIs using structured processes and procedures.

  • Promote and model a strong, positive culture of safety and compliance.

  • Maintain Known Supplier status by fulfilling all audit, CAA, DfT, and H&S requirements.

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless stock flow to retail outlets.

  • Manage location-based property maintenance in line with budgets and planning.

  • Oversee on-site contractors in alignment with facilities compliance standards.

  • Lead the implementation of customs measures and regulatory requirements.

  • Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement in efficiency and productivity.

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all NXCT training under the Known Supplier Programme.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership in warehouse/logistics management within a high-volume environment.

  • Strong knowledge of H&S, security compliance, and regulatory standards.

  • A hands-on leader with a passion for developing people and processes.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Experience working within customs-regulated environments is an advantage.
