We are now looking for a new Sales Director for our DHM Plastics Division in the UK. Leading a team of c.30 experienced sales professionals, you will champion and drive key initiatives that will positively impact the delivery of the three-year business strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director and working as a key member of the Leadership Team, the new Sales Director will inspire, coach and provide effective leadership and a commercial vision to our Sales Team whilst contributing to the wider business strategy. With a natural ability to balance ambition with delivery, you will ensure that the business delivers to budget, both revenue and profit whilst ensuring a platform for growth in the years to follow.
This role is about developing and implementing a sales philosophy, strategy and standards that keep the business competitive and delivers growth. Our new Sales Director will identify commercial opportunities in new and emerging markets and/or products, whilst balancing a consistent focus on developing our core business and existing customer relationships. You will be adaptable, responding quickly and efficiently to shifts in the marketplace and economy, whilst accurately forecasting future sales and trends. You will be a natural business networker and effective brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and conferences. You will make great strides in developing the sales organisation by developing the team capability and creating a high-performing and engaged culture.
