We're looking for a dynamic and proactive Safety, Health & Wellbeing Specialist to support the implementation of our Health, Safety, Quality, Environment (HSQE), Facilities and HR strategies across our UK operations.

How You Can Play Your Part:
Provide a safe working environment for all members of staff and abide by all rules and legislation for Health & Safety and Environment. Knowledge of HR processes and practices.
You Will:
• Supporting the HSQE Facilities and Fleet Manager and manage/oversee HSE and wellbeing activities across the UK property portfolio, and administer/manage the HSE systems (Evalu-8, iAuditor, Astute)
• Supporting with the management and administration of HSQE training for all employees
• Co-ordinating the company wide communication of the Health and Wellbeing themed monthly promotions, in collaboration with HR
• Liaison with Insurance companies to ensure statutory inspections (for office equipment) are completed and actions arising are document and managed through to completion
• Ensure that all office statutory risk assessments (Fire, first aid, workplace, manual handling, CoSHH, water etc.) are completed, with actions documented, and tracked through to completion
• Maintain Duty of Care documentation for waste streams at the sites, (including but not limited to Waste Carrier’s Licenses, Waste Management Licenses/ Exemptions, Waste Transfer Notes, Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes)
• Data gathering and analysis, to collate and prepare routine reports
• Internal and external audit/assessments co-ordination, support and assistance
• Attendance at QHSE meetings including if applicable meeting agendas and minutes
• Carry out site visits including inspections, audits and assessments as required
• Implementation of the compliance strategy, and Objectives
• Working with the Head of HR operations and the wider HR team to design and deliver an effective employee wellbeing programme, including responsibility for the mental health first aiders
• Raise awareness, encourage and deliver practical solutions to create an open culture of discussions of mental health and wellbeing.

• Able to demonstrate good decision making - perceptive, experience + evidence based
• Understanding of relevant legislation in relation to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
• Awareness of HR processes and practices, or willingness to learn
• NEBOSH or IOSH membership
