This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) and Facilities across all Daikin UK locations. You’ll lead a dedicated internal team and manage a network of suppliers and contractors to deliver excellence in compliance, sustainability, and employee experience.

What Will You Be Doing?

You’ll ensure all legislative requirements are met and internal policies are implemented effectively—delivering a safe, compliant, and sustainable environment for employees and customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving a positive, best-practice Health & Safety culture across Daikin UK.
• Reviewing, maintaining, and updating H&S policies and procedures for all operations.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO standards, internal audits, JSOx, and other quality frameworks.
• Managing audit schedules and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Overseeing Daikin UK’s property portfolio, company car fleet, reception services, and travel policies.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A proven leader with strong HSQE experience and expertise in managing suppliers and contracts.
• Knowledge of property and/or facilities management within a large portfolio (office, retail, workshop, solution centre).
• Familiarity with ISO principles and experience with ISO 9001/14001; willingness to progress toward ISO 45001.
• Relevant H&S qualifications (NEBOSH or IOSH Certificate / NVQ6 / IOSH or IIRSM membership).
• A passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.
