Come join us as an Apprentice Engineer at Daikin in partnership with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). This trailblazing course is being rolled out for the first time this year, so YOU will be amongst the first in the UK to achieve this qualification. Learn on the job as we push forward with eco-heating using our cutting-edge Air Source Heat Pumps.

Life as a Service Engineer Apprentice:
Accompanied by our experienced Service Engineers, you'll hit the road to engage in planned on-site visits with both commercial and residential customers. Together, you'll carry out thorough fault finding and diagnostics to tackle a variety of issues concerning heat pump units, with the aim of first-time fix.
Whilst out on the roads, you’ll also visit our office in Manchester (Trafford Park). You may need to report here daily, so please check your travel.
College Attendance:
Every 1 week out of 7, you will take a trip to Bolton College. During these visits, you'll engage in classroom learning which is essential for achieving your qualifications. It's a fantastic chance to connect with peers and gain theoretical knowledge that you can put into practice.

About you:
No work experience? No problem! At Daikin, we’re more interested in your ambition to start a career as an Engineer, along with your eagerness to learn. You’ll be interacting directly with customers so clear, concise communication skills are essential. Good technical understanding of IT will also come in handy.
