Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week

Ready to make your mark? At Daikin, we’re looking for a driven Consultant Development Manager to lead the way in HVAC innovation across the Midlands. This is your chance to take control of your territory, build powerful relationships, and influence major projects

 

 

The role:

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with consultant customers to ensure Daikin is specified in their projects. 
  • Sales Growth: Maximise sales opportunities and achieve agreed targets through face-to-face and virtual customer visits. 
  • Specification Development: Collaborate with Pre-Sales teams to deliver high-quality project specifications and expand Daikin’s product range. 
  • Customer Support: Act as the first point of contact for consultant firms, providing technical expertise and guidance. 
  • Pipeline Management: Own and manage project pipelines, track progress in CRM, and ensure accurate reporting. 
  • Training & Upskilling: Deliver technical presentations and CPD sessions to enhance customer knowledge of Daikin products and industry legislation.

About you:

  • HVAC experience
  • Previous experience as a Consultant Development Manager 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets 
  • Strong external sales experience 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Highly organised, self-driven, and confident in building relationships 
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate and close deals 
  • Good computer literacy and CRM experience
