We are looking for a Shift Team Leader to join our busy Waltham Cross branch. Our workshop here operates a shift pattern with four days on and four days off (6.00am – 6.00pm).

You’ll play a key role in our workshop as a productive technician.  You’ll oversee the quality of work ensuring maximum productivity is achieved, the development and training of mechanics and apprentices whilst ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to ensure the safety of employees and customers.

You will be customer focused, possess a commercial awareness to meet business targets, drive performance and ensure the efficiencies of all technicians are in line with KPI’s.  You will encourage a clean working environment whereby all equipment is kept and stored in good working order and ensure all mechanical tasks are performed to meet legislative and VOSA standards.

Ideally you will hold a City and Guilds Level 1,2 & 3 or equivalent qualification in Motor Vehicle Service and Repair, previous experience of working on light commercial vehicles and a full driving licence are essential. It would be great if you had some experience of Supervising a team of technicians but we can also consider candidates looking to make that next step in their career and who are deputising in their current role.

So if you’re looking for a new challenge and thrive on performing in a busy environment this could be the role for you.

In return, you’ll discover a friendly and fast-paced working environment, and the chance to build a career that’s just as exciting as our future.

We’re offering a competitive salary, tools insurance, productivity bonus, 23 days holiday, company pension and share save scheme.
