It’s probably the most exciting time in our business’ history just now.  We’re opening an amazing new commercial hub in Reading town centre that will hold a sizeable commercial team.  One of the members of that team is a Bid Writer, we looking for someone who is at the top of their game to join our Revolution in Reading

As our new Bid Writer you’ll be part of the Sales Support team and you’ll essentially be responsible for maximising all opportunities to win the large bids and tenders and you’ll manage the end to end tender process for all new and existing business.   The role has a good mix of private and public sector exposure and you’ll have full ownership of all formal written responses to ensure you design the optimum solution to win the tender.  As you can imagine you’ll spend a lot of time liaising with all of our internal departments as well as potential customers.

In order to be successful in this role we’d really like it if you had previous bid writing experience, if this was in a corporate and fast moving environment then all the better.  You’ll need to be able to write well-articulated & powerful proposals to win new business.  You’ll also need a sound commercial acumen because we need to be making sure that tenders make sense for both Northgate and the customer and you’ll need to be able to able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

Northgate offer an extremely competitive base salary as well as 23 days holiday plus an extra ‘birthday day’ as well as the opportunity to be part of our new commercial hub in Reading.  We offer a phenomenal benefits package too, details of which can be found by visiting
