We’ve got an awesome team of Credit Controllers here at Northgate. They’re driven, enthusiastic and have a brilliant team atmosphere. We’re looking to add another Credit Controller to the team now, so this is an amazing chance for someone that is looking to make a move to one of the biggest employers in the area. We love to share our success stories and what it’s like to work here, so you can watch a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MdhHIMX31k
As our new Credit Controller, it’ll be your responsibility to ensure our customers are paying in line with their payment terms. You’ll build relationships with your customers to understand reasons why payment hasn’t been received, and you’ll help them to resolve any issues in a timely manner. On some occasions you’ll also need to do some investigating to understand what has happened and what we can do going forward to resolve the issue. You’ll also need to create bespoke reports using internal systems and Microsoft Office
Ideally, our new Credit Controller will come from a Credit Control background and have experience of dealing with credit ledgers. Relationship building and negotiating are absolutely key in the role as is a strong ‘Customer First’ ethos. You’ll also need to be highly organised and great with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
We offer a very competitive basic salary, a generous holiday allowance, as well as a great all-round package. We also offer unrivalled career development and we’re one of the North East’s top employers. There are also regularly ran ad-hoc incentives throughout the Credit team. Amazing things are happening at Northgate, this is your opportunity to be a part of something special.
Northgate is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunities employer.
