Here at Northgate, everyone plays a part in what we do. And if you’re ambitious, dependable and customer-focused, we could have a huge part for you to play, too.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Northgate as an HR Coordinator based at our head office in Darlington.  In this role you will provide an efficient and effective first line HR support as part of the Business Applications Project, to coordinate and administer all training, engagement and communications events and activities for the HR Transformational Change Team.

As the HR Coordinator you will proactively ensure that all regular and cyclical events are effectively managed and that all related records, data/information and files are maintained to the highest of standards.  You will provide reports for training and engagement compliance; proactively finding solutions to non-compliance situations.  Also you will be supporting the wider HR team with the coordination and administration of any changes to policies, processes or documents that are required as a result of the Project activity.

Ideally CIPD qualified or have previous HR administration experience. This will include a basic knowledge of working with employment law.

You’ll also have excellent customer service skills and combine great attention to detail with a flexible and proactive approach to work. You'll feel at home in the kind of fast-moving environment where deadlines can change at short notice.

In return, you’ll discover a friendly and fast-paced working environment, and the chance to build a career that’s just as exciting as our future.

We’re offering a competitive salary, 23 days holiday, and company pension.

We are looking for someone to join this exciting project as part of a 18 month secondment or fixed term contract.

Northgate is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunities employer.
