We have an opportunity for a Heavy Plant Field Service Engineer to get involved with the servicing and maintenance of a premier brand ‘VOLVO’ construction equipment throughout parts of the Northwest area reporting into our Warrington Site.
This is a chance for you to use your experience of identifying mechanical problems with the use of your technical knowledge and the computerised diagnostic equipment.

To thrive in this position, you will have experience working on heavy plant equipment, hold a minimum of an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in construction, agriculture or heavy plant machinery maintenance and repair, along with have comprehensive understanding of hydraulics and electronics.

SMT has recently launched its new NVQ programme, which means you can join us as Field Service or Planned Maintenance Engineer from day 1 and we will help you build experience on construction equipment, all while we fully support you to obtain your NVQ qualification.
