What Will You Be Doing?  

As a Pre-Sales Technical Engineer for Daikin UK, you will ensure customers receive a high-quality pre-sales technical response to enquiries via our live ticket system. You will be providing pre-sales product technical information and advising on a proposed design solution.

You will:

• Provide pre-sales technical design solutions, that meet and exceed customer specifications and sales’ briefings specifically for Daikin Applied products
• Preparation of quotations and technical propositions using company systems (e.g. CRM, Design Tools)
• Generating detailed quotations and technical submissions for the product, achieving optimum performance for customer’s budget
• Liaising closely with the Sales Team to maximise sales through a collaborative approach to ensure high quality technical propositions
• Shared responsibility to manage work tickets within the Hub team queue, escalated to pre-sales from Account Managers and Customer Support Specialists
• Attend customer meetings (both in person and through virtual methods) with sales colleagues where there is a need for product champion knowledge for a pre-sale’s activity
• Achieve continued development through agreed KPI

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have world class customer service skills and be familiar with Daikin Applied products or Applied products in general on a highly technical level. You will be passionate about delivering a pre-sales technical solution to our customers and clients a like:

• You will have and extensive technical knowledge and working understanding of Daikin Applied, Water Based products and processes or similar systems
• You must be KPI driven and go above and beyond to achieve the targets set
• You will be dynamic, driven, and thrive in a busy working environment
• You will be highly organised and able to prioritise, whilst being able to show flexibility in an ever-changing market.
