37.5 hours per week | Mon – Fri | 8:30am to 4:30pm | Newbury, Berkshire

What you’ll be doing:

As our Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing customer projects from New Product Introduction (NPI) to delivery, optimising and monitoring our manufacturing processes whilst ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. Utilising your manufacturing engineering expertise, you’ll drive continuous improvement initiatives and assist in the definition of manufacturing and equipment requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Determining the most effective and economical methods of manufacture
• Advising on project implementation and requirements to enable manufacture
• Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes
• Resolving production and quality issues
  
  

Previous experience as a Manufacturing or Project/Process Engineer, skilled in working with raw metal material or knowledge in metal machining processes from design through to manufacture.

In addition:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• The ability to work cross-functionally
• Experienced in customer interaction and understanding their requirements
