Manufacturing Engineer

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
3T Additive Manufacturing Ltd is growing. With increased demand and customers from the Aerospace, Defence, Space, Energy, and Industrial sectors this is an exciting time to join our engineering team.
What you’ll be doing
Your focus will be on managing customer projects from NPI to delivery. This will include determining the most effective and economical method of manufacture, and resolving related production and quality issues whilst developing methods, tools, and processes.
Other activity
- Liaise with Process and AM Engineers defining requirements for manufacture
- Input to introduction or modification of new or existing products & processes
- Advising on project implementation
- Input to continuous improvement programmes
- Fault investigation and solving production and quality related issues
- Scheduling of plant start-up/shutdown/maintenance
- Managing MRL and milestone data collection
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Skills/Experience required
- A background in Manufacturing Engineering is essential
- Knowledge of hard/raw metals, finishing or machining
- Practical knowledge of APQP, PAPP, FMEA, problem solving
- The ability to work cross-functionally with operations, design engineering, commercial, procurement and quality teams
- Customer interaction - understanding requirements, negotiation and resolution
