Field Service Engineer – Volvo Construction

Covering Stirling & Glasgow

38.5 hours per week Monday to Wednesday 8am-4.30pm, Thursday 8am -4.00pm, Friday 8am-3.30pm

About the Role

As a mobile engineer you’ll be visiting customer sites attending breakdowns and carrying out fault diagnosis, repair work and maintenance services on the full range of Volvo heavy plant machinery including diggers, dumpers, loaders, and excavators. 

Key responsibilities:

• Attending breakdowns and carrying out fault diagnostics and repairs including Mechanical and Electrical work on heavy construction plant or agricultural machinery 
• Work independently in the field at customer sites

Must have’s

• Level 3 Plant Maintenance, Land Based Engineering, Agricultural, HGV
• Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant equipment on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrics
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
• A full UK Driving licence
• The right to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
