About the role

This is a rare opportunity to join the exciting project which is Imerys British Lithium and become part of the team pretty much from the start. As the project moves from its current feasibility stage through to construction and commissioning you will see the document control team grow, this will give the right candidate the opportunity to be part of that growth as well as becoming the super user and the main point of contact for all things document control! You will also be working closely with our external project partners (including engineering and environmental) ensuring an efficient flow of information between all parties involved in the project.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing the overall project documentation
  • Lead the configuration and implementation of the electronic document management system
  • (EDMS)
  • Set up, manage and oversee project document control processes ensuring they are disseminated
  • to the project team and third parties
  • Administrate the project EDMS
  • Assist with the consolidation of numerous documents and the editing of the combined content to
  • facilitate reporting
  • Co-ordination of the document controllers (during execution phase)

About you

Skills requirements:
  • Experience in a document control and/or project manager role (in an industrial setting would be
  • advantageous)
  • Experience of relevant EDMS
  • Business administration qualification (desirable)
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels within a multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self motivated and results focused
