Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday (7.5 hours per day)

The job role: 


This is a varied role involving some manual handling, which provides key support to Production and Engineering activities.


The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • General maintenance - to include basic carpentry & small civil work tasks
  • Supporting the Engineering team in their activities
  • Landscaping (including the use of a strimmer) 
  • Small civil works - fencing and cleaning tasks
  • Site Waste Management organisation
  • Support for instrument calibration (pH probes & density meters)
  • Routine checks and inspections
  • Basic plumbing
  • Managing spill kits (i.e. for chemicals etc)

You will:


  • Have a high degree of EHS awareness and competence
  • Legally able to drive in the UK
  • Be willing to get stuck in and capable to work alone where necessary 
  • Be self-motivated and able to manage your own daily activity with minimal supervision
  • Have a high level of team commitment
