Registered Home Manager – Children’s Residential Home (Learning Disabilities) 

Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: Highly competitive – based on experience
Hours: Full-time, permanent Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm + on-call rota

Are you an exceptional Registered Home Manager, ready to step into a pivotal leadership role within our organisation? 

If so, you’ll lead our flagship home, which relocated to a stunning new setting in September 2025 and has previously proudly achieved an Outstanding rating. During the Manager’s parental leave, you will be entrusted with maintaining these exceptional standards of care and leadership. 

Beyond this period, as we grow thoughtfully throughout 2026, you will play a key role in identifying and supporting the development of our next new home—ensuring our expansion remains firmly guided by our unique child-centred, care-led values.

What You’ll Do 

• Take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring excellence in care and compliance with Ofsted, SCIFF, and organisational standards.
• Continue to ensurea nurturing, person-centred environment where every young person feels safe,supportedand able to thrive.
• Inspire,leadand develop a dedicated care team, championing growth,professionalismand high performance.
• Build effective multi-agency relationships, working collaboratively to secure the best outcomes.
• Drive a culture rooted in safeguarding, learning and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

What You’ll need: 

• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent / near completion).
• Demonstrablemanagerialexperiencein children’s residential care.
• Strong experience supporting young people with learning disabilities.

• A track recordof achieving positive outcomes and navigating confidently with Ofsted and local authority partners.
• Philosophy that only the best is good enough when it comes tothechildrenin our care
• Excellent communication,leadershipand decision-making skills.
• Ability to nurture and supportavery strong,diverseand well-regardedteam of c20  
• Driving licence
