Arnold Laver, national timber merchant, have an unmissable opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Sales Assistant in Reading. If you have experience in dealing with customers, both trade and public, and some knowledge of timber and related products this is the opportunity for you.

As a trade counter sales assistant your responsibilities will include driving excellent customer service and advising customers using your product knowledge. Your ability to learn and memorise products and IT skills will support your training and development in this role. You will also be required to support your team in the yard with duties such as stock control, general maintenance and health and safety compliance.

As well as the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and make a positive impact in the team, you will also benefit from a Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm working week, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and a fantastic pension contribution scheme.

Training and Development
