Our People Director is going on maternity leave and so we need someone who can step into her shoes for 12 months and keep the firm’s people agenda moving forward whilst she’s away.

The role will be overseeing a small team (a Reward & Benefits specialist, a People Advisor and a People Assistant, plus an L&D Manager to join soon), so you’ll need to be happy rolling your sleeves up and supporting team members and their development across a broad range of topics. There’s plenty of responsibility - you’ll oversee all aspects of people management; from pay decisions, through to performance and wellbeing.  


You’ll also join our Senior Management Team so you’ll have to be confident enough to advise on the bigger decision pieces too and they’ll be times when you’ll need to spread your talents into projects that stray out of the HR world.


Ideally you’ll come from a professional services background, be a strong HR generalist who isn’t afraid to challenge but can work well alongside a variety of personalities and lead the people function across all levels of seniority.


We’d be happy to consider this on a full-time basis or 3-4 days depending on your needs, the role will be based from our Peterborough office, with potentially one day a week working from London, and it’s going to be most beneficial if you’re in the office more than you work from home.
