Associate / Senior Associate - Employment (6-9M FTC)

We are seeking a qualified employment lawyer between 2-5 years PQE on a 6-month FTC to cover a period of maternity leave. This role is on a hybrid basis with a requirement to be in our Peterborough office at least 3 days week.

You will have your own high quality and varied caseload and will work closely with the Partners and other team members on the following:

  • Employment tribunal claims
  • Advising and managing issues in the workplace such as disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring and redundancies
  • Drafting of contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements and other employment related documentation

Our ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE gained from working in an employer focused employment law team. We need candidates with experience gained in both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to manage deadlines and workloads effectively. You will be a team player and be happy to support senior fee earners and contribute to our client’s collaborative culture.
