Location: Par Moor Centre, Par Moor Road, Par, Cornwall, PL24 2SQ

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum

Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, 7.5 hours per day - Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm (flexibility to start and finish between these times)

The job role:

This is a varied and busy role; you’ll be part of a small team providing extensive administrative and clerical support to the HR team and the wider business.


In addition, you’ll:

  • Manage all administrative processes related to employee life cycle, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training and development, compensation and benefits, termination
  • Prepare employment contracts and update any variations as required
  • Ensure accurate and efficient data input into HRIS (Workday)
  • Provide prompt, effective administrative support to the HR, managers and employees, maintaining a professional approach
  • Maintain a disciplined and confidential approach to sensitive employee information

You will:

  • Have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised with an inquisitive nature
  • Bring proven experience in administrative roles, particularly within fast-paced environments
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement
  • Showcase a background in processes and systems
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have advanced IT proficiency
  • Effectively multi-task and prioritise
  • Be collaborative, diligent and a strong team player
  • Understand Data privacy and GDPR
  • Be capable of managing projects from initiation to completion
