Hours of work: 37.5 per week, 10.00pm – 6am Sunday to Thursday (finishing Friday morning)

The job role:


The processing operative is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment? Join our team at the Heathfield Plant and play a key role in our manufacturing operations while ensuring health, safety, and quality standards are met.


  • Operate Attritor Mills and IBC bagging line
  • Bagging the ball clay
  • Bulk milling
  • Support shredding operations
  • Safely operate mobile plant equipment – front end loading shovel & Forklift
  • Meeting production targets
  • Perform Level 1 maintenance tasks and report equipment faults
  • Carry out site cleaning and promote good housekeeping practices
  • Follow health and safety guidelines

You will:


  • Bring motivation, drive and enthusiasm as this is a very hands-on role. In addition, you’ll:
  • Hold Full and valid UK driving licence
  • Possess a Front-end loading shovel or Forklift certificate
  • Be from a production background (desirable)
  • Understand health and safety in the workplace
  • Have the willingness to learn and drive other mobile plant equipment 
  • Be a team player
  • Possess basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills
