Reporting to the Head of Engineering and Quality, you will solely manage and develop our Quality Management System (QMS) to guarantee compliance with AS9100 standards.

You will receive:

Your role as a Quality Assurance Engineer:

• Non-Conformance Processes
• Own and drive the Material Review Board (MRB) process, tracking MRB performance against KPIs and leading root cause analysis to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Concession Management
• Manage high-quality concession submissions, ensuring timely customer responses and oversee the management and closure of concession statuses 
• Cost of Poor Quality
• Analyse and report on the true cost of poor quality, utilising Pareto analysis to identify cost trends, tiered KPI reporting, and gap analysis between actual and forecasted manufacturing costs
• Audit Management
• Take full ownership of the audit calendar, ensuring visibility and support across the business for regulatory audits, customer quality audits, internal process audits and external supply chain audits

You will need:

• Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
• Knowledge of developing a QMS
• Practical knowledge of APQP, PPAP and FMEA
• Auditing experience and certification
• Experience of non-conformance investigation techniques.
