Manufacturing Project Engineer - Industrial 3D printing

37.5 hours per week | Mon – Fri | 8:30am to 4:30pm | Newbury, Berkshire

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Operations you'll manage customer projects from New Product Introduction (NPI) to delivery, optimising and monitoring our 3D additive manufacturing processes whilst ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives and assist in defining manufacturing equipment requirements.

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Determining the most effective and economical methods of manufacture
• Advising on manufacturing project implementation and requirements 
• Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes
• Resolving production and quality issues
• Assist/advise on the introduction of new products, and/or modifications 
• Being a point of contact for suppliers, consultants and controlling authorities

Experience as a Manufacturing/Project/Process Engineer and knowledge in working with raw metal materials/ metal machining processes from design to manufacture.  You'll also have  

• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• The ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience in customer interaction and the ability to understand their requirements
