Project Engineer - 3D metal manufacturing

What you’ll be doing

Getting involved with New Product Introduction (NPI) through to delivery you’ll be driving continuous improvement initiatives and assisting in defining manufacturing equipment requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Determining effective and economical methods of manufacture
  • Advising on manufacturing project implementation and requirements
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements 
  • Resolving production and quality issues
  • Supporting the introduction of new products and modifications
  • Being a point of contact for suppliers, consultants and controlling authorities

 

Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon – Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

 

Requirements:

Raw metal engineering experience and knowledge of metal manufacturing processes from design stage to delivery, is essential for this role. 

You’ll also need:

  • A strong understanding of metal machining processes 
  • The ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience in customer interaction and the ability to understand their requirements
