Interested in manufacturing engineering? This is an excellent opportunity within the world of Additive Manufacturing (AM) to join a successful and growing business and receive valuable training in setting and operating our industrial 3D printing machines.
Based at our manufacturing facilities on Greenham Business Park, you’ll receive full training, dependent on your existing experience, in
- Setting and operating AM 3D printing machines
- Performing mechanical servicing and preventative maintenance on the 3D printers
- Cleaning down and setting up new jobs on the 3D printers
- Conducting material change overs
- Carrying out inspection of finished components
Other responsibilities will include facilities maintenance, parts post processing and workshop activity.
About you
Practical experience within a factory/manufacturing environment is essential however experience of 3D printing is not, as full training will be given. You’ll also have a natural interest in manufacturing/engineering with a technical aptitude, and a strong desire to learn and develop.
Additional skills/attributes
- Hand tool, workshop or model-making skills
- Understanding of working with materials
- Basic facilities maintenance is ideal but not essential
- Excellent eye for detail
