Job Title: EL/PL Paralegal

Location: Manchester / Hybrid 

Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum (DOE), plus on target bonus

We are currently recruiting for a bright and ambitious Paralegal to join our Employer’s Liability/Public liability (EL/PL) Team, based out of our Manchester office. 

This role is on a hybrid working arrangement with 1/2 days working from the office, so you will need to be within the Manchester area to assist the with client visits and meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

• To assist fee-earners to progress cases quickly.
• Setting up new files on the case management system.
• Drafting Letters of Claim, Claim Forms and Court Forms
• Answering client calls, responding to queries, and providing updates
• Helping prepare instructions to Counsel
• Preparing Trial Bundles
• Liaising with medical experts, barristers, and council 
• Attending Court/Council meetings when applicable 
• Reviewing expert reports
• Arranging meetings and appointments for the fee earners
• General organisation and upkeep of files

This role would be a great next step for experienced paralegals, ideally within personal injury, who are looking to build on their practical legal experience and join a busy and successful team.
