What work will you be doing?

  • Handling all new business calls and emails (inbound only)
  • Talking to clients obtain the full circumstances of a claim, collating all the required information, and recording it accurately on the relevant system/databases
  • Identifying and managing claims to ensure considerations are given to all relevant information to achieve pro-active handling and quality decisions
  • To identifying multi-track cases through effective discovery and fact finding
  • Working to a ‘right first time’ outcome for all customers, minimising customer detriment

What sort of person are we looking for?

We need someone who can handle new business calls in a professional manner, identify legal requirements and facilitate a smooth transition into the legal specialist. You’ll ideally have experience of claims handling including FNOL and/or motor insurance work. This is a high-volume environment and you’ll be working towards targets, so you’ll need to be able to demonstrate and maintain best practice awareness in order to support quality claims decisions and mitigate risk.

 

It involves working closely with the legal practice areas to learn and develop your understanding of consumer law, whilst delivering great customer service on every call. We need someone with a genuine desire to show the caller we care who is energetic and enthusiastic about helping people. You’ll need an excellent level of attention to detail and be able to build meaningful rapport.
