We are looking for our next leader in our Residential Conveyancing team, someone who will actively manage a team of conveyancers and assistants to help achieve our growth and client services targets in the coming year, and will join us as a Residential Conveyancing Manager.

We’ve got a growing team with a ambitious targets to develop further, we offer a working from home arrangement for all conveyancing staff (you can work from the office 1-2 days per week if you want to), and you’ll receive strong back-up from the wider Simpson Millar brand which brings marketing support and new business generation, strong links to quality introducers and an excellent all round service reputation.


What will you be doing?


You’ll be expected to drive performance of the team through proactive interpersonal management, you’ll monitor individual performance against KPIs, and look to mentor and develop staff members through regular file reviews, working with key internal stakeholders to address any knowledge / client service gaps. You will also manage and run your own caseload of matters.


Ultimately, you’re there to ensure that Clients’ cases are dealt with expediently and in a professional manner.


And what will you bring?


Clearly, you’ll have strong all-round exposure to all types of transactions across residential conveyancing and be able to help develop the skills and experience of your team. You’ll work to support the continuous improvement and on-going development of an automated, lean and efficient case management system, have excellent IT skills with the ability to work with a Case Management System, databases / excel and normal office IP systems and it goes without doubt a good knowledge and understanding of CPR procedures and CQS Practice Standards.


And in return?


A basic salary of up to £40,000, 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays), monthly bonus, and a range of benefits, both financial and well-being based.
