What Will You Be Doing?  

As the Pre-Sales Technical Team Lead for Daikin UK, you will be responsible for managing the Pre-Sale Hubs in two regions Manchester and Glasgow. You will provide optimum level of technical quotation and application support to customers in need of the business objectives. You will be providing pre-sales technical design solution for our VRV, applied, commercial heating and control solutions.  

You will:

  • Collaborating with associated Regional Sales Managers to ensure customers receive high levels of service.
  • Monitoring, prioritising and allocating incoming team workload of Pre-Sales Technical Engineers to ensure timely and quality responses to customers and colleagues.
  • Working in conjunction with other regional Pre-Sales Managers to ensure suitable cover is arranged where necessary to maintain service levels nationally.
  • Providing feedback and reporting of activities and supporting data. Identify areas of improvements in processes, service levels, solution and product concepts for discussion with stakeholders.
  • Acting as the escalation point for complex issues and to bring them to a successful and timely resolution.
  • Attending customer meetings with Sales colleagues, where there is a need for specialist design knowledge and support in the sales activity.
  • Contributing to the preparation of and delivery of pre-sales technical training modules to customers and colleagues as required in the training subjects of selection and application.
  • Ensuring team members receive development and training to achieve required knowledge for the role and for future progression.
  • Adopting a leadership position to allow continuous improvement in people, business systems and process
  • Ensuring all sections of the quality assurance system and daily processes relating to the Pre-Sales activity are adhered to.
