Loomis are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Manchester branch. This is a full time, permanent position with fantastic career development and a competitive salary



Your role as an Operations Manager:

Reporting to the Cluster Branch Manager, you will be fully responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of your branch transport and vault operations in accordance with all H&S, DVSA & Company policies. In this role you will ensure that all operational KPI’s are met whilst striving to achieve Branch and Company financial targets.


As an ambassador of our brand, you will champion a 'customer first’ approach and take full responsibility for understanding customer requirements and engaging with internal and external customers to meet and strive to exceed customer expectations.


As an Operations Manager your role will include leading and developing a team of Shift Managers, guiding and coaching them to success. You will be responsible for setting objectives, managing performance, and supporting your team when required. People management and development of others is a crucial aspect to this role and will include recruitment, leading by example and encouraging them to develop confidence and capability to help unlock your teams full potential.



To be successful you will need:

  • Proven experience within a similar environment
  • Experience leading a team of Shift Managers/Supervisors (or equivalent), with strong leadership and people management skills
  • Strong financial management skills, with previous P&L responsibilities
  • Exceptional customer and commercial focus, with the ability to continuously review performance and professionally deliver customer satisfaction
