We are currently seeking to hire a new leader within our Catastrophic ELPL & RTA team.
This person will be responsible for the strategic, operational and day to day development of the team, rather than doing hands-on casework.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to lead a really strong department, which is performing well and it will give you the opportunity to steer the team into the next stages of it’s growth and success.
Key to the success of the position will be that the person doing the job will come with a strong commercial outlook. Clearly they’ll be a solicitor who has worked in this area of law for a substantial time, but they’ll be focused around how to manage workflow, how to improve efficiencies and how to supervise a national team in the best possible way. They’ll be data-savvy and able to interpret MI to make the right outcomes.
It will include hiring decisions, managing budget and working with marketing and our customer care team to ensure the right business is brought into the department.
It's a varied role and the person who takes the position will have a wide range of skills and experience to draw from.
There’s ambitious (but sensible) plans to grow the team beyond it’s current headcount of c.30, to develop the reputation of what is already a well renowned and successful department, and to see it reach its potential.
The role will be predominantly working from home (currently 1-2 days per week in the office – although if you want to more in the office the option is there). The team has a national remit so some travelling to the other office will be required, but on an ad hoc basis to help support the team.
