Managing Associate – Commercial Disputes

We are working with a mid-tier law firm who has built an enviable reputation for delivering high quality legal services with a personal approach to complex legal problems. The Disputes team is Legal 500 Tier 1 ranked for commercial litigation advice.

Our client is punching above its weight in the type and value of the work they deliver to clients. Uniquely, the department has strong London and international client followings through “best friend” referrals from magic circle and silver circle law firms, which accounts for roughly one third of the department’s growing workload.

We are looking for candidates who have a well-developed understanding of claims involving injunctions of all kinds, breach of contract, fraud, professional negligence, partnership and company disputes, insolvency, and warranty claims. The department over the last few years has developed a specialism in dealing with financial services claims including claims against lenders, fund managers and advisers. Our ideal candidate will have solid experience within a comparable firm recognised for complex commercial disputes.

The team is growing, and we are currently looking to recruit 6PQE plus. You will be an excellent communicator. You will enjoy working collaboratively and support not only the development of the disputes team but also the firm’s culture and values.
