Associate – Property Litigation

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced associate (2-5 years PQE) with a track record in working on property litigation matters, particularly those concerning property – acting for both landlords and tenants, to become a key part of our established team. 

The role will be varied and challenging as you will work with colleagues across our three offices to resolve disputes in a way that is commercially and client focused. 

Key responsibilities

• Assisting fee earners on all contentious property matters
• Advising a mixed client base of commercial and residential sector clients on a broad range of real estate disputes
• Providing advice on property litigation matters both in writing and telephone
• Preparing trial bundles
• Supporting the wider disputes team marketing initiatives.

Ideal candidate

• 2+ PQE
• Experience in property litigation within a commercial setting
• Experience in dealing with trespass claims, forfeiture of commercial property and be familiar with CPR 7 & 8, LTA 1954 Act lease renewals, dilapidations, LTA 1987 work.
