Our Court of Protection team is nationally recognised and seen as one of the strongest teams with the most dedicated solicitors in the country. We’re currently looking for an experienced COP Solicitor (ideally 3+ years’ PQE) to join our contentious Health and Welfare team in London.

And what type of person are we looking for?
You understand that because of the nature of the types of clients we deal with that the role will need someone with empathy and an ability to work with the most vulnerable of clients. You’ll need to have an understanding of funding streams for packages of care including continuing health care and local authority funding.
You’ll be able to manage a high volume caseload across a variety of matters and clearly you’ll work in a compliant and efficient manner. For the more senior employees, you’ll also have the opportunity to supervise the casework of more junior staff in the team.
Anyone with links to referrers of Court of Protection work would be seen as an added bonus, but it’s not essential so don’t let it put you off applying. What’s important is you have a detailed knowledge of Court of Protection work and the right attitude and personality to provide a high quality of advice within this dedicated area of law.
And in return?
We offer a competitive salary between £34,000 - £42,000 dependent on experience and in addition 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays), Life assurance and permanent working from home but with the option to come into the office when suits for clients etc.
