Simpson Millar are a national law firm, recognised as a Leading Law Firm within the Legal 500. We are currently seeking to add a CIPD qualified and experienced HR Business Partner to our growing team. As a firm, our practice areas are split into 3 defined specialities, and you will be responsible for managing the people agenda within one area.
This will involve day to day support of the Practice Area Heads and Heads of Department on short to medium planning and strategy. You’ll need to be a strong influencer, have excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to maintain consistency in everything the firm does; in addition to experience with complex ER matters, policy and process, and organisational culture management.

Your experience will likely come from working within a complex business previously, potentially although not necessarily from within the legal sector.
Above all, you’ll need to have a caring but commercial attitude, be IT literate, highly organised, and be keen to develop your experience within a rapidly growing, changing and challenging business.
Although the role is advertised as Leeds based, the role is working from home, with occasional travel to our offices around the country.
