Looking for a skilled engineer who’s confident with hydraulics, hands-on with plant or HGV kit, and keen for a workshop-based role with real progression.

At our client’s Immingham site, you’ll prepare brand-new construction equipment—like dump trucks and loaders—before it hits the job site. If you enjoy mechanical builds, fitting, and modifying machines to customer spec, this is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI)
• Fit hydraulic kits, lighting, safety systems, and mechanical components
• Work from build sheets and wiring diagrams
• Ensure machines are fully functional, clean, and ready to go
• Record your work accurately using digital checklists

What You Need

• Experience working on construction plant, agricultural, HGV, or similar equipment
• Solid knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and wiring
• A keen eye for quality and safety
• Full UK driving licence & right to work in the UK
• NVQ Level 3 or similar in Plant, HGV, or Mechanical Engineering is ideal – but experience speaks loudest.

Shifts

• Week 1: Mon–Wed (6am–2:30pm), Thu (6am–2pm), Fri (6am–1:30pm)
• Week 2: Mon–Wed (1:30pm–10pm), Thu (1pm–9pm), Fri (12:30pm–8pm)
