37.5 hours per week | Mon – Fri | 09:00 to 17:30 | Hybrid working available | Hayes, London

You will play a significant role in overseeing the end-to-end process of our air freight import operations at our London Office in Hayes.

Your role as an Air Freight Import Agent:

  • Coordinate the movement of pharmaceutical and medical goods through air freight, ensuring compliance with customer SOPs, temperature requirements, UK GDP regulations, and Customs Compliance
  • Prepare and process all necessary import documentation including air waybills, customs declarations, packing lists and invoices
  • Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods, while tracking shipments and providing regular status updates to customers
  • Act as the primary contact for customers regarding import shipments, advising on shipping options and import regulations as well as addressing any issues
  • Prepare quotes, invoices and billing for customers

About you - you will have:

  • Previous Air Freight experience, particularly within import operations
  • An understanding of shipping within the Aerospace or life-sciences industries (desirable)
  • Experience of HMRC procedures (knowledge of CDS)
  • A high attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and efficiently manage workload
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment with excellent customer relations skills
