Late shift – 14.00 to 22.00 Tuesday to Saturday

Your role as a Customs Clerk:

Working within our team of experienced customs professionals, supporting some of our biggest customers, you’ll be overseeing the customs process for both air and ocean shipments. You’ll be: 

•    Preparing and reviewing import & export documentation

•    Completing and submitting customs declarations in compliance with international/UK trade regulations

•    Providing shipment updates and guidance on customs-related matters to customers, customs authorities & internal stakeholders

•    Resolving issues relating to disputes, inspections or customs delays 

•    Determining tariff classifications and calculating duties, taxes and fees for goods 

What we are looking for:

•    Knowledge of customs, imports or export processes is ideal however training is provided

•    Experience within a logistics/freight environment is beneficial

•    A high attention to detail and accuracy 

•    Ability to efficiently manage workload

•    Confident working in a fast-paced office environment with customer contact

•    Strong IT skills including use of Excel, Outlook and in house systems
