You will play a significant role in overseeing the customs process for both air and ocean shipments. Not only will you be gaining valuable experience, but you will also be collaborating with our team of experienced customs professionals – some of the best in the business!

Your role as a Customs Clerk:

• Prepare and review documentation required for both air and sea import and export processes, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading/airway bills
• Complete and submit accurate customs declarations to ensure compliance with international and UK trade regulations
• Communicate with customers, customs authorities & internal stakeholders, providing regular clear updates on the status of shipments and offering guidance on customs-related matters
• Determine appropriate tariff classifications for goods based on customs codes and calculate applicable duties, taxes, and fees.

About you - you will have:

• Experience in an office environment, with good administrative skills
• A high attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and efficiently manage workload
• A willingness to learn as you will be given training on our customs systems
• Previous experience within a logistics/freight environment is ideal but not essential
