Are you a specialist on Microsoft Dynamics F&O and looking for the next step in your career? 

Our client SMT TEC has a new role in the business for an Application Specialist. Your focus will be on supporting our client’s current implementation project of a global D365 F&O solution and being the go-to person for your colleagues regarding specialist knowledge and support in resolving IT challenges.

The role 

This is an exceptional career opportunity where you can share your expertise and make an important contribution to the growth and development of our client’s international organisation. You’ll be managing, configuring, and maintaining the Microsoft Dynamics ERP stack within SMT, working proactively and decisively and always seeking room for improvement.

Activities include 

• Conducting research, creating proposals and supporting on implementation of improvements for the applications
• Translating and implementing the functional needs into technical solutions
• Solving technical issues related to the application
• Supporting internal users with 2nd and 3rd line issues
• Working with international colleagues and suppliers to promote the use or integration of applications with the aim of guaranteeing a seamless user experience
• Together with the business owners, documenting the application processes, manuals and procedures

Your skills and experience 

• A relevant IT education with at least 3 years of work experience as a functional application manager
• Knowledge or working experience of MS Dynamics D365 F&O solution and potential older AX versions
• Good communication skills: the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
• Fluent English
• An enterprising team player who puts cooperation and results first
• Proactive and can take the initiative when it comes to opportunities for process optimization
