Arnold Laver & Co Ltd is an established national timber merchant with Depots across the UK. We employ some 760 people and enjoy a great reputation with our customers and suppliers. We place great emphasis on providing first-class customer service and recognise that this is only achieved through a committed and professional workforce.

Our continued growth and development means that we now require an External Sales Representative to be based at our brand new Depot in Croydon.

Job Responsibilities

Your key responsibility will be to use your high standard of product knowledge to grow sales and business relationships in line with the depot growth plans and targets.

Specific Experience and Skills required:

  • Business development, establishing sustainable relationships
  • Call planning skills to ensure area is fully maximised
  • Experience in maximising sales targets and increasing profitability
  • Experience in ensuring quotes and pricing is logged and allocated to ledger accounts
  • Customer delivery accuracy including stock awareness
  • Customer invoice query management
  • Sales administration

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
