About the Role

Location: You’ll be reporting to our client’s Brownhills depot while covering Coventry and the South of Birmingham, giving you the perfect balance of autonomy in the field with strong team support.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose, service, and repair construction equipment on-site
• Use advanced diagnostics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Identify opportunities for additional service work and upgrades
• Ensure top-level customer satisfaction with clear communication and efficiency
• Complete reports and timesheets accurately in real-time
• Manage parts and maintain a clean, organised service van
• Support and mentor colleagues where needed

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural, or HGV Mechanics
• Proven experience in heavy construction equipment repair and maintenance
• Strong diagnostic skills in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrics
• IT literacy for diagnostics and reporting
• Full UK driving licence & right to work in the UK
• Welding, fabrication, and advanced troubleshooting in hydraulics/electrics
