How You Can Play Your Part:   

As a detail-oriented professional you will ensure all calibration and inspection activities meet AS9100 standards. You’ll calibrate mechanical and electrical equipment, manage schedules, resolve non-conformances, and support production to minimise downtime.

You Will:

• Perform in-house calibration and inspections, ensuring traceability to national standards.
• Maintain calibration records, schedules, and methods.
• Resolve calibration failures promptly and support audits.
• Collaborate with QA, production, and external calibration providers.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and use precision tools.

About You:

• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical calibration and inspection.
• Proficient with precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T.
• Experience with calibration management systems (e.g., ATMS).
• CMM operation/programming experience.
• Aerospace sector experience.
• BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, Metrology, or related field.
• Additional calibration/inspection certifications advantageous.
• Strong cross-functional calibration experience, ensuring consistency and compliance across departments
