DHL Global Forwarding UK are currently looking for an Air Imports Clerk to join their Imports Team at their fast-paced office in Bristol. This is a Full Time, Monday to Friday position, working 9am to 5:30pm.


Your role as an Air Imports Clerk

You will have a crucial role in effectively coordinating shipments from origin right through to destination, obtaining customs clearance and working to meet customer SLAs. You will ensure all documentation, quotations and reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner to meet company, customer and legal requirements. As an Air Imports Clerk, you will have a clear understanding of air freight import procedures and the importance of working to tight deadlines.


About you – you will need

  • Experience/knowledge of air freight imports
  • Exceptional customer service skills with strong communication with your team and external stakeholders
  • To be process driven with great attention to detail and understanding of the importance of compliance
  • The ability to prioritise workload and perform under pressure
  • Experience/Knowledge of customs – not essential but would be advantageous
