What Will You Be Doing?  

As an Internal Account Developer for Daikin UK, you will manage allocated accounts providing exceptional levels of Customer Service through the proactive and timely resolution of all customer queries, generated from the selling of products. You will work in collaboration with the split function External Heating Sales Teams.  

You will:

  • Build great relationships and trust with customers to deliver a high-quality professional excellence in service to external customers and Daikin UK colleagues. You will do this through the proactive and timely resolution of all customer queries relating to or arising from the selling of products.
  • Be the first point of support for customers taking full ownership of enquiry resolution, recording, reacting, and following up through ongoing communications to the customer in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain effective customer relationships (by telephone, emails, and visits) gathering market and customer information which can be used to help achieve additional sales
  • Liaise with internal Daikin departments to ensure customer expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure Order Maintenance is carried out to create an accurate open order book to ensure sales planning factory forecast and sales landing forecast are appropriate
  • Track ongoing long-term project order schedules ensuring timely communication with colleagues and customers to project completion

Communication is the key so you will have a real passion for Customer Service and an exceptional ability to deliver on every customers’ requirements. You will be happy and able to thrive working in a fast-paced environment and can work well under pressure. With previous portfolio management experience, you will be able to work autonomously, manage your own workload and always be attentive to detail. A critical thinking problem solver mind set with excellent listening skills.

Your passion for driving and developing Customer Relationships will go hand in hand with your ability to identify opportunities to promote and upsell additional products to your existing customers.
