Aga Rangemaster, market leader in the premier cast iron range of heat storage cookers, is recruiting a National Business Development Manager to boost sales and develop relationships in the UK with new and existing ‘Aga Retail Partners’ and the Distribution network.

This role will report in to the Sales Director and will take responsibility for:

  •          Training, challenging and motivating current partners to maximise sales opportunities
  •          Identifying business opportunities to develop new partners through networking, research and cold calling
  •          Ensuring that all of our partners provide a service to customers that is representative of the world famous Aga brand
  •          Understanding and keeping up-to-date with developments in the appliance market
  •          Leading expansion into new markets and identifying opportunities for growth with existing customers

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  •          Proven experience as a Business Development manager or Sales Executive in a similar industry
  •          An in depth understanding of the market and competition to maintain competitive awareness and business advantage
  •          Skills in lead generation, identifying market opportunities and building relationships with partners
  •          Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills

This role is home based and will require regular nationwide travel for regular face to face meetings and to identify new business opportunities.  The salary on offer is competitive and the package includes a company car or car allowance and profit share options.
