DFS is constantly moving forward. That’s why, thanks to our continued growth, we have another exciting opportunity for a Distribution Centre Manager for our CDC in Greenford.
As Distribution Centre Manager you will deliver, through your Shift Managers, Drivers and Warehouse staff, a safe, efficient and effective distribution operation that delivers the high standards of service our customers have come to expect.
You will be leading your team with a ‘hands on’ attitude whilst developing a culture for compliance and excellence across Customer Service, Health & Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Our ideal candidate:
An experienced individual with a functional and operational understanding of distribution /warehousing at its best.
A strong people manager with the ability to demonstrate your leadership capabilities required for the successful delivery of performance management and building an effective and motivated team.
Essential to the effective and compliant running of the vehicle fleet you will have knowledge of Transport and Health & Safety regulations; in particular driving hour’s legislation and vehicle compliance.
An individual with a professional customer orientated focus.
Will possess commercial understanding with budget management experience.
